Confident in the record of the TPS technology in Canada and around the world the Saskatchewan Ministry of the Environment has approved the PS2 Treatment Facility, under Approval Number PO06-104. This Approval allows PS2 to receive for treatment or destruction:

The Company is authorized to receive, store, treat and/or dispose of soils, sludges1, sediments and debris2 that have been contaminated with the one or more of the contaminants listed below, and in a manner consistent with The Environmental Management and Protection Act, 2002 and Regulations, The Clean Air Act and Regulations and the requirements of this Approval. The list of these approved contaminants are limited to:

1. Pesticides
2. Herbicides
3. Fungicides
4. Wood preservatives
5. Polychlorinated biphynels (PCB)
6. Pentachlorophenol (PCP)
7. Dioxins/furans (PCDD/PCDF)
8. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH)
9. Coal tars
10. Hydrocarbons
11. Creosote
12. Pharmaceutical wastes
13. Other materials with prior approval of the Department

The TPS technology has an extensive approvals history and due to its consistent operational performance has never been refused a permit from any jurisdiction in which one was sought.
